The Spanish Lavender (Lavandula dentata) bloom is sometimes called Rabbit Ears or described as a pineapple shaped.
Its purple flowers appear profusely in the early spring and are loved by bees. When this lavender finishes blooming, give it a good pruning and it becomes an attractive, fragrant, gray-green shrub throughout the rest of the year.
Native to the Mediterranean region and North Africa, Spanish Lavender a suitable lavender choice for gardens in hot, humid climates. This is a lavender that is more prized more for it exceptional fragrance in the landscape rather than used for cooking.
Shipping Policy
Please note that plants are seasonal items. We begin shipping plants, with the exception of onion transplants, in mid-March. Plant shipping is paused during the heat of the summer, then resumed in early September through late November.
NOTE: Not all plants listed on our website are available for shipping. Non-shippable plants are marked either "LOCAL ONLY" or "Non-Shippable". Full refunds are issued for plants that are ordered, but not available within the shipping season.
If you order plants in the shipping off-season, they will automatically be back-ordered and shipped during our shipping seasons.
We use primarily USPS for shipping. If you prefer another carrier, please contact us before placing an order and we will quote the price of your order plus shipping.
