Shipping, Returns, Condition of Sale and Other Information

Shipping Policy

Plants are seasonal items. We begin shipping plants, with the exception of onion transplants, in mid-March. Plant shipping is paused during the heat of the summer, then resumed in early September through late November. If you order plants in the shipping off-season, they will automatically be back-ordered and shipped during our shipping seasons. We use primarily USPS for shipping. If you prefer another carrier, please contact us before placing an order and we will quote the price of your order plus shipping.

Perishable items will ship separately from seeds and products.

Please use the ORDER NOTES field at checkout to give special shipping instructions.

Tracking Your Order - A tracking number will be emailed to you the day your order is shipped.

Plant Guarantee
We guarantee every plant is healthy and viable when it leaves our greenhouses. Once the plant is out of our possession, we cannot guarantee the plant's survival. Neglect, poor watering schedules, or purchasing a plant outside the recommended growing zone are not included with any guarantee.

The customer is responsible for choosing a plant suitable for the climate in which it will be grown and for requesting any delayed ship date due to weather conditions.

Damaged branches and leaves that occur during shipping are not considered defective or damaged, as this is normal wear and tear during shipping that plants can easily recover from.

For claims, notify us via email within 24 hours of delivery about any issues with the plant(s) you received. Please include a picture of both the plant and the packaging. Beyond 24 hours from date of receipt, perishable items are non-refundable.

Receiving Your Order
Please open the package upon receipt and inspect the content against the packing slip. Notify us immediately of any missing or damaged items and provide a photo of both the plant and the packaging.

We ship early in the week to ensure delivery before the weekend. All orders placed on or after Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday. Orders placed on Tuesday, will ship the next day only if we can ensure delivery by the weekend. We reserve the right to slightly alter the shipping schedule, if necessary, due to weather conditions or volumne of orders in peak season.

Do you ship to a P.O. Box?

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

What is your return policy?
Because plants are perishable items and shipping is stressful on plants, we do not accept returns.

If you have any issues with your plants or products upon arrival, please notify us of the problem within 24 hours. We will either issue a refund or send a replacement, depending on the problem. If a replacement is out of stock we will either send you a similar variety or give you a refund. What if an item I ordered is out of stock? If a certain variety is out of stock we will either send you a similar variety or give you a full refund.

Can I change my order?
If you need to change your order, please contact us immediately and we will certainly accommodate you as best we can.

Conditions of Sale
Windcrest Group, Inc. ("Windcrest Farm") warrants that all seeds, bulbs, plants, materials, or other merchandise sold are as described on the label within recognized tolerances. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. Windcrest Farm gives no warranty, express or implied, as to productiveness or purity of the product purchased or the crop produced from any seeds, bulbs, plants, materials, or other merchandise purchased. Windcrest Farm's liability, whether contractual, for negligence, for strict liability, or otherwise, is limited to the purchase price for the seeds, bulbs, plants, materials, or other merchandise under all circumstances and regardless of the nature, cause, or extent of an loss. IN NO EVENT SHALL WINDCREST FARM BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. No liability hereunder shall be asserted unless Purchaser or user reports to Windcrest Farm by registered mail, return receipt requested, any complaints within a reasonable period after discovery (not to exceed 30 days). Seeds, bulbs, plants, materials, or other merchandise not accepted on the basis of the foregoing conditions of sale must be returned within 30 days in the original unopened containers and the purchase price will be refunded. The foregoing conditions of sale represent the entire agreement between the parties as to warranties or an other liabilities of Windcrest Farm and the remedy therefore.
