Christine's Konditorei has delicious desserts that I cannot pronounce. German baked goods with international twists are beautiful to see and taste even better. Popping up at Central Food Hub, NoDa and other Charlotte markets since 2016, her Steuselcakes, Macaroon cookies, Linzer Tartes and such, these baked goods will have you speaking German, "Diese Leckereien sind kostlich. "THANKS MUCH!
Double Up Farm
Run by Kate and her husband, Double up farm is a cozy farm along a stream. There you are greeted by sheep, horses and chickens. Kate will have her spinning wheel at her booth along with hand spun yarn, all natural wool dryer balls, hand crafted soaps and felted display/wearable art. Her yarn is the softest I've ever touched and folks rave about her natural dryer balls.
Come meet Kate at 2018 Windcrest Ginger Fest!
Our love for the earth (and Concord, NC in particular) guides every aspect of our operation from our grape growing to our wine making. We strive to produce a wine that is as natural and delicious as possible. We believe that a good wine reflects the community and environment that produces it. We aren't France, we aren't California. We are North Carolina and we know that once you try our wines, you'll love us for who we are.
We can ask the silly question, “Do you like baby goats?”. But who doesn't? Michele from Dreamy Acres has baby goats with loads of spring in their step and she will be bringing them to Ginger Fest on October 7!
A goat play area where you can snuggle up to these tiny little beauties? Yes! Stacey from The Giving Tree Farm will be there too with some of her kids. Come see the baby goat play date! Once you're all goaty, get some of Michele's handmade soap to freshen up. She will have a special ginger soap available from Windcrest's harvest!
