Finishing Salts are sprinkled on your vegetable, meat, and fruit dishes just before eating to add an extra bit of flavor.

Each of our Finishing Salts is made with herbs and spices grown at Windcrest Farm and combined with pure sea salt.

  • Aji Amarillo starts with "sweet" and ends with "heat". This petite little pepper's flavor will surprise you! Pair this salt with any dish to add a a subtle spice.
  • Aji Dulce is one of the specialty peppers we have grown for over ten years at Windcrest Farm for fresh eating, drying and fermentation. It has the smokey flavor of an habanero, without any heat! This salt pairs well with eggs dishes and we love it on Mac and Cheese.
  • Ginger Finishing Salt is made from our fresh harvested ginger crop and is a great way to add the health benefits of ginger to your meals with the addition of an Asian flavor. We like to use it on everything, including salads and popcorn.
  • Our Lemon Basil salt herb has a subtle citrus flavor combined with fresh basil. Lemon Basil is actually a variety of basil that thrives in the summer months. A Finishing Salt is a great way to enjoy this flavor throughout the year on cooked and raw salad greens.
  • Nettle is packed with nutrients called polyphenols which help our bodies fight inflammation and allergens. Nettle should be included in everyone's diet and our Nettle Finishing Salt is a convenient way to do just that. Add this earthy salt to meats and cooked vegetable dishes.
