Munstead English Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia 'Munstead')
'Munstead' is an early-flowering and compact English lavender. Growing 12-18" tall and wide, the blue flowers in late spring well into summer. Munstead’ was reportedly named for Munstead Woods in England where the plant was grown by garden designer Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932).
Ideal for sunny perennial borders or rock gardens, and raised beds or containers.
