Sage 'Berggarten' (Salvia officinalis 'Berggarten')

A beautiful addition to the herb garden, rock garden and garden borders.
With large oval leaves reminiscent of Lamb's Ear, Berggarten sage has large oval leaves instead of the narrow pointed leaves of the common garden sage. Berggarten Sage also differs from garden sage in that it rarely blooms and has a low, mounding shape rather than a tall, shrubby growth habit.

As a culinary herb, both common sage and Berggarten have similar aroma and flavor profiles.

Shipping Policy
Please note that plants are seasonal items. We begin shipping plants, with the exception of onion transplants, in mid-March. Plant shipping is paused during the heat of the summer, then resumed in early September through late November.

NOTE: Not all plants listed on our website are available for shipping. Non-shippable plants are marked either "LOCAL ONLY" or "Non-Shippable". Full refunds are issued for plants that are ordered, but not available within the shipping season.

If you order plants in the shipping off-season, they will automatically be back-ordered and shipped during our shipping seasons.

We use primarily USPS for shipping. If you prefer another carrier, please contact us before placing an order and we will quote the price of your order plus shipping.
